Beautiful Day

“Beautiful Day” is one of Em’s newer songs…freshly recorded in our our handy dandy home studio. This is definitely one we’re thinking about getting professionally recorded when we have a spare moment or two, but I just couldn’t wait till then to share it with everyone.

Emily was seriously annoyed when she wrote it and meant to write something that would show her frustration and deliver a monumental smack-down. I wasn’t in favor of a song like that, but I guess if she wants to vent through her music, she can.

What she came up with was not at all what she’d intended or what I expected. I absolutely love this song for the song itself, but I also love the fact that she turned her misery into happiness. Check it out… ~ Jenny
